Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase is a combination medicine. It is used to relieve a
cute pain in adult patients. This combination works by inhibiting the action of inflammatory mediators and promotes healing. Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase is available in the form of a tablet, capsule, gel and ointment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from, before starting this medicine.
Uses of Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase
Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase is used in adults to treat acute pain.
Contraindications of Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase
When should one not use Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase
If you are allergic to diclofenac, serratiopeptidase or similar medicines.
If you have problems with your heart, liver or kidneys.
If you are pregnant (especially third trimester).
If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers and bleeding or have an active ulcer.
If you experience asthma, skin rashes, swelling & allergies after taking aspirin or any other painkillers.
If you are above 60 years old
It should not be taken to relieve pain before, during or after cardiac bypass surgery....

- You consume alcohol regularly.
- You are pregnant, planning to conceive or are breastfeeding.
Mode of Action of Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase
How Does It Work?
- Diclofenac inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins which are responsible for causing pain, swelling and inflammation thus offering anti-inflammatory properties.
- Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that helps in breaking down or dissolving the abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation and promotes healing.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way diclofenac+serratiopeptidase works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Especially if you are taking medicines to treat your heart problems, psychiatric illnesses, diabetes, blood cholesterol levels, HIV infection, fits, gout, infections or if you are taking medicines like mifepristone, methotrexate, water pills, blood thinners, pain relief medicines, steroids, antibiotics, medicines used to modify immune response during organ transplant....
- Do not take any other medicines containing diclofenac.
